I was abandoned by my mother when I was six months old and always thought there was something wrong with me. Thankfully, my grandmother raised me until I was six years old and loved me unconditionally. After I moved in with my dad and step-mom, my life slowly started falling apart and I eventually took a turn for the worse. Along the way, I had mentors and teachers who helped me deal with my struggles. I was aimless but they helped me find my purpose in life and that is why I became a teacher. I want to give back to you what other teachers gave me.
